Whole Wheat Banana Bread

Ingredients:

- 1 cup jaggery - 1/2 cup vegetable oil - 2 large eggs - 3 ripe banana - 1 tbsp milk - 1 tsp ground cinnamon - 2 cup whole wheat flour - 1 tsp baking powder - 1 tsp baking soda - 1/2 tsp salt - 1 tbsp instant oats(optional)

- 1 tsp vanilla essence

Method: First, preheat the oven to 160 degrees C. Mix the jaggery and oil in a large mixing bowl until it becomes creamy and well blended. Then add vanilla essence and eggs one by one, beating well after each addition.


Then in a small bowl, mash the bananas with a fork. Mix milk and cinnamon in another bowl. Sieve all the dry ingredients.

Now add banana mixer into the jaggery mixture and stir until combined. Add dry ingredients into this creamy mixture by cut and fold method. Pour the batter into greased loaf pan and bake for min 40 min.


The baking time depends on your oven, so keep checking in between to prevent from burning.

The loaf is ready when a toothpick inserted into it comes out clean.
